Well, that’s just the trouble it isn’t – not yet. And it’ll be some time before energy efficient lighting alternatives are available for these punchy, power hungry work lights. In a recent survey 75 % of film lighting professionals agreed that they would use green lights if they could guarantee to match the performance of traditional lights. But maybe we have to be prepared to think of smarter ways to use energy on set.
